The restaurant is named for Engadine’s perhaps best-known, but certainly most legendary hunter: Gian Marchet Colani.He shot 16 chamois in one day – tall tales? Perhaps. It is no tall tale that the "Colani Stübli" prepares excellent game according to traditional recipes (in the hunting season).
We also serve typical dishes from the Engadine and its neighboring valleys. "Engadiner Krautpizokel", the "Säumerteller", (a hearty Rösti prepared following an old recipe and two fried eggs), or the "Capuns nach Förster Art" (delicious stuffed chard leaves). The popular ibex dishes, the fish specialities, and the vegetarian dishes are also highlights from the Steinbock’s kitchen.
