Peter Maxelmoser acquired a taste for cooking as a Sous Chef at the Hotel Walther. Today, with inspiration and devotion in abundance, the Bavarian-born chef works meticulously alongside 8 hard-working hands in front of the Steinbock's ovens to the delight of our gourmet guests, again and again creating down-to-earth and modern taste sensations with dishes from far and wide.
Almost from the first time he walked through the door, the Aargau-born technician has been like a "house doctor" to the beautiful divas from the earliest days. He is always on hand to fix coffee machines, patch up roof tiles and clear snow from the road. During the Alpine summer he becomes friend to a wealth of Alpine flowers in the hotel garden. In his leisure time Werner Locher is a passionate fly fisher with a staggering number of catches!
